TeenKom Schoeneweide

At the end of August 2008 – after four month of planning – the new TeenKom project in Berlin's borough of Schoeneweide started. Networking with local shops, companies and potential private TeenKom clients was encouraged, and as the first orders came in, adolescents encountered on the streets were invited to participate as flash jobbers. The important target group of existing networks of citizens already engaged in the community development were subsequently included networking.

The goal for TeenKom Schoeneweide is, within the span of three years, to include as many adolescents and experienced adults in the organizing functions of running the service network. With regards to the specific conditions of the local scenario, a multitude of synergies unfold as a result of TeenKom's activities:
