Film-lecture & workshop for residents of Berlin Schoeneweide

As an official project within the German Week Of Actions of the National Network for Civil Society (BBE) TeenKom invites all curious people to attend a two hour workshop on Saturday September 20th 2:00 pm in Berlin Schöneweide.

In April TeenKom was launched as a 3 year EU Model-Project. Activities will start in the Berlin communities Nieder- und Oberschöneweide end of August. The workshop addresses people with an interest for engagement in their community.

The TeenKom Development Group wants to empower citizens to influence the development of the project. The workshop on September 20th offers the first possibility of getting involved.

After showing films and telling about the TeenKom concept, we will have a open forum, discussing questions like: "Who profits from TeenKom?" "How can I - as local business-person, resident individual or parent influence the project?" "How does it work, when adolescents do little jobs by people they do not know before-hand?"

The workshop will take place in the caffee of Sonnenhaus e.V., 5 minutes walk from S-Station Schöneweide. Registration before September 16th. (max 20 participants, first come first serve) to info at domain teenkom dot de.


Engagement macht stark

For the fourth time the BBE has launched the biggest promotion for volunteering in Germany: The Week Of Actions from September 19th through 28th. Like the previous two years, the patron is the German federal president Horst Köhler.
